1. Perform field layout, verify utility conflicts, and coordinate with utility providers to ensure safe and efficient installation. Provide and maintain traffic control throughout the construction period. 2. Foundations for poles are existing, mast arms, and control cabinets are in place. Install conduit, pull boxes, and junction boxes necessary to support wiring and connectivity for the signals. 3. Set City-furnished poles, mast arms, and controller cabinets in place. Mount and wire vehicle and pedestrian signal heads, detection devices, and other appurtenances as required for operation. 4. Install, Pull, splice, and terminate wiring for all components. Connect and program the controller units to ensure signals operate safely and efficiently in accordance with City and TxDOT standards. 5. Conduct full system testing, including verification of detection systems, timing sequences, and signal coordination. Make adjustments as directed by the City prior to activation. 6. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the work as indicated herein. 7. The contractor shall utilize personnel that are qualified, through training and experience, to perform the work under this RFB. No temporary, same day labor shall be used.
