Holly Avenue, Orange City, FL 32763, utilizing a True Grid containment system or an approved equivalent. Contractors proposing an equivalent containment system must submit for review and approval by the City prior to bid submittal. The construction involves driveway construction, grading, tree removal, tree protection, flat concrete and curb installation, installation of True Grid containment system or an approved equivalent, installation of 3/4 " gravel (FDOT #57 stone), and ADA signage and pavement marking. Bid Bond 5% The City of Orange City is accepting sealed bids from qualified Contractors to construct a new gravel parking lot located at 440 S. Holly Avenue, Orange City, FL 32763, utilizing a True Grid containment system or an approved equivalent. Contractors proposing an approved equivalent must submit for review and approval by the City prior to bid submittal. The City will include a base bid form that will incorporate all necessary items to complete the project in accordance with Attachment A - Drawings for South Holly Avenue Gravel Parking Lot Additionally, an alternate bid form is included that incorporates all necessary items to complete a larger scale gravel parking lot in accordance with Attachment B - Drawings for South Holly Avenue Gravel Parking Lot. This project shall reach substantial completion within ninety-one (91) calendar days upon issuance of a written Notice to Proceed unless otherwise modified by the City. The City will impose liquidated damages at $500.00 per day until substantial completion is met.
