Scope of Work: 1. The construction of a new Control Building for the relocation and consolidation of the Proctors Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant control station and server room. 2. The expansion and renovation of the Administration Building for expanding the laboratory services, relocating the Pretreatment staff, and general aesthetic improvements. 3. The construction of a new Golf Cart Canopy has been REMOVED from this project. 4. The relocation and extension of existing site utilities to support the new Control Building and renovated Administration Building. 5. The laboratory casework in the Administration Building has been revised extensively from the original bid documents. Project Location: 1200 Coxendale Rd, Chester, Virginia 23836. Construct the Work in phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated below. 1. Phase One: Initial Utility Work. a. Install new fiber optic conduit and pull boxes. b. Feed the Control Building and re-feed the Maintenance Building from existing Building #13. c. Relocate existing utilities. 2. Phase Two: Control Building and Administration Building Expansion a. Construct Control Building and commission new server system. Server room construction and commissioning by SinglePoint Technologies Company. GC to coordinate schedule with SinglePoint. b. Construct Administration Building addition. c. Construct new Administration Building roof over addition and existing building. d. Demolish existing Server Room in Administration Building. e. Demolish existing offices in existing Storage area. f. Construct temporary lab space. 3. Phase Three: Administration Building Renovation a. Relocate existing radio communications equipment from Administration Building to Control Building b. Existing plant fire alarm control panel to remain in place. c. Construct new vestibule. Relocate existing Administration Building fire alarm panel. d. Relocate temporary lab to lab space in Administration Building addition. e. Maintain existing Administration Building communications closet. 4. Phase Four: Administration Building Renovation a. Demolish existing fire line piping in the Administration Building. b. Demolish existing mens locker room and adjacent storage space in Administration Building. c. Construct new Mens and Womens Locker Rooms, Secured Files, and Uniforms. d. Renovate existing lab and construct new break room in Administration Building. 5. Phase Five: Administration Building Renovation and Final Site Work a. Construct new Open Office Space, Offices, and Lobby Spaces b. Complete grading c. Install landscaping. 6. Phase Six: Perform the remaining Work. The remaining Work shall be substantially complete at time of Substantial Completion of the Work. Construction duration CLARIFICATION. a. The construction duration for the project is 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence. b. The project is completed and ready for final payment within 330 calendar days.
