Site work for a mixed-use development in Monroe, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Piedmont High School Drainage All questions relating to this project shall be directed to the Procurement Lead identified above in the form of an email no later than 2:00 pm September 26, 2025. Answers will be provided to all bidders in the form of an addendum. Auxiliary gymnasium hallway is experiencing flooding during heavy rain events. We are looking to correct this issue by installing (2) channel drains and connecting (1) downspout to an 8" inch line that will be connected to the closest catch basin. Install (1) 4" inch by 10' foot channel drain in front of triple doors outside of the Auxiliary Gymnasium. Install (1) 4" inch by 6' foot channel drain in front of single door outside of auxiliary gymnasium locker rooms. Connect existing 5" inch by 5" inch downspout outside of auxiliary gymnasium locker room doors. Both channel drains and downspout are to tie-in to an 8" inch SCH40 drainpipe. drain piping is to connect to existing storm drain outside of main gymnasium. Channel drains are to be commercially rated with ADA compliant grates. All channel drains are to be set in concrete. Drain piping is to be back filled with clean fill and gravel depth to match existing. Asphalt is to be saw cut and patched to a depth to match existing. Union County Public Schools seeks quotes/informal bids for the above referenced Project. The Scope of Work is attached as Exhibit 1.
