Bids are invited on work consisting of pavement striping with paint on various City streets and removal and replacement of thermoplastic pavement markings. The project is located on several streets as outlined on the Schedule of Streets within the City of Monroe, Union County, North Carolina. Bids may be held by the City of Monroe for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to reject as non-responsible bids of contractors which have demonstrated history on City contracts of unsatisfactory performance including but not limited to failure to meet deadlines, complete work accord to contract amounts and assessment of liquidated damages. The proposal form provided by the City of Monroe shall be used and shall not be taken apart or altered. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly stamped or marked "PROPOSED BID FOR 2025- 2026 PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM.
