Separate sealed bids for New Library for Mt. Vernon, AR - Faulkner CO Library System Project Obtaining bidding documents through any source other than Southern Reprographics, Inc. is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information, and the bidder runs the risk of basing his/her proposal on such information. Bidders obtaining plans through Southern Reprographics, Inc. will be added to a plan holders list. Southern Reprographics, Inc. will digitally post and distribute addendums to listed plan holders. In any event, bidders are ultimately responsible for verifying receipt of and obtaining addendums. Each bid proposal shall include with it a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid offered, if the bid is in excess of $50,000. The bidder will be required to submit a bidder's deposit which includes enclosing a cashier's check payable to the order of FAULKNER COUNTY LIBRARY and drawn from a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas or by a corporate bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. All bidders shall conform to the requirement of the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors & must be licensed on the day of the bid submittal. There shall be only one (1) bid submitted per State Contractors License. Each bid received shall have the license for that bidder. Bid shall be submitted on the form provided by the Owner and shall be delivered in a clearly identified, sealed, opaque envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. Furnish and install all electrical wiring, systems, equipment and accessories in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Specifications and drawings are complimentary except that, in case of conflict, the most stringent will govern. B. Judgment shall be exercised to install electrical work in a practical manner to function properly, simplify future maintenance, and to fit building construction and finish. Items not shown or specified which are required to produce a complete, operative and finished system shall be provided. C. The electrical plans are a guide to the Contractor to show general arrangement of conduit and wiring and equipment required. If any error omissions or obscurities appear therein, which are questionable, do not conform to good practice, or appear contrary to the purpose and intent of the work, the Contractor shall promptly notify the Architect and Engineer and apply for directions before construction. The exact location of conduit runs and lengths shall be determined by the Contractor in the field. D. The drawings may be superseded by later revised or detailed drawings or specification addenda prepared by the Architect. The Contractor shall conform to all reasonable change without extra cost to the Owner. All items not specifically mentioned in the specifications or noted on the drawings, but which are obviously necessary to make a complete working installation, shall be included.
