Bids shall be addressed "City of Fort Smith Water Utilities, 801Carnall Avenue, Suite 500, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901" and shall be labeled "Bid for 2018SSA Sub-Basin Remedial Measures, Project No. 21-17-C1". Bidders are to include their Arkansas License number on the outside of their sealed bid.Bids shall only be received from registered Bidders. This project includes approximately 1,293 linear feet of 4-inch diameter sanitary sewer line replacement by open cut methods; 3,083 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer line replacement by pipe burst methods, 2,370 linear feet of 8-inch, 1,010 linear feet of 10-inch, 907 linear feet of 12-inch,399 linear feet of 15-inch, and424 linear feet of 18-inch remediation by CIPP; the installation of 73 cleanouts; the removal of26 existing manholes, the abandonment of 1 existing manhole,and the installation of 34 standard depth manholes; the lining of 53 manholes by calcium aluminate cementitious method,the lining of 17 manholes by polymer epoxy liner method;and the replacement of 41 manhole frame and covers. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and considered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to be classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform the workidentified as part of the project.
