DESCRIPTION OF WORK. This Project consists of the reconstruction of Taku Boulevard from Mendenhall Loop Road to Aspen Avenue. WORK will include replacement of the ductile iron water main and services with HDPE, replacement of the asbestos cement sanitary sewer main and services with PVC. And improvements to the storm drain system. Additionally, work will include replacement of roadway subbase to a depth of 12-inches, resurfacing with new asphalt cement pavement, and the addition curb and gutter and sidewalk along the north side of the roadway, replacement of three (3) light fixtures on wood utility poles with new LED fixtures, and other miscellaneous items related to WORK. SITE OF WORK. The site of the WORK is Taku Boulevard from Mendenhall Loop Road to Aspen Avenue in Juneau, Alaska. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE: Between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000. COMPLETION OF WORK.
