Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Seguin, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

SHWSC currently owns and operates one surface water treatment plant (WTP), located on the south shore of Lake Placid and called the Lake Placid Water Treatment Plant (LP WTP). The LP WTP is currently a 2-MGD facility consisting of raw water pumps mounted on the Lake Placid Dam, chemical injection facilities, solids-contact, up-flow clarifiers; mixed media filters, clearwell storage, and high-service pumping. Many of the components of the LP WTP are near the end of their design life and replacing, rehabilitating, and/or expanding an operating water treatment plant is an expensive and complicated undertaking. Additionally, the existing site is restricted by flood plain. Therefore, SHWSC will be constructing a new water treatment plant located at the intersection of FM 725 and Gamecock Road, approximately 1.4 miles southeast of the LP WTP. The new facility, known as the Gamecock WTP, will be built with an initial capacity of 4 MGD and the potential to be expanded to 8 MGD. The existing LP WTP will continue to be used during construction of the Gamecock WTP without interference and will also be developed in a new role as part of the treatment and delivery system for surface water. The LP WTP site is currently planned to be the site of a new raw water intake and pump station, chemical storage and feed facilities, sludge treatment and/or disposal, and finished water storage (existing) and pumping via a new high-service pump station. Question Deadline 09/23/2025 at 4:00 PM CT The CMAR, Owner and Design Team will provide responses to Proposer questions online question deadline All times in this GMP-1, RFCSP are Central Standard Time (CST).
