The work to be done under this contract consists of the construction of approximately 36 lineal feet of 72-inch diameter RCP storm sewer, 7,600 square feet of sheet pile wall, 3,030 square feet of bank stabilization, and appurtenances to be constructed in an area located south of Interstate 270 and east of Riverview Drive, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. The District shall pay the Contractor for all work done on the basis of final measurement computations, unless otherwise noted in the Technical Specifications, for all work acceptably completed according to this Request for Bids at the Unit Prices shown on the attached Bid Proposal Form. As the rate of progress and time of completion are essential conditions of this project, the Contractor shall commence and continuously and actively pursue the work upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall fully complete all work within 90 calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall be assessed as provided for in the contract.
