IN ORDER TO SUBMIT AN ELIGIBLE BID, CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO GET A COPY OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FROM BOLTON & MENK.****** Construction of stormwater improvements for Ackerrose Dr, Blue Bell Ln, Pine St, Moore Ln,& Boundary St. Contractor will be working in public street right of way, as well as public easements on private properties. Some installation will require working around existing trees & existing water/sewer infrastructure along with potential gas lines and underground communication lines. Question Deadline 09/29/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Submit written questions to Mr. David Crotts via email at procurement@conwaysc.gov (SCIIP Grant: A-23-C045) pn- 25X140469000, 40392.OE, 25X.140222000, 40488.0E, 25X.140460, 25X.S139705 The Project includes the following Work: The base bid project is to include the construction of the proposed stormwater improvements as listed below: o Stormwater improvementsin the Rosehaven subdivision including ditch cleaning, fine grading, and the installation of a concrete box culvert on Ackerrose Drive. o Stormwater improvements on Blue Bell Ln consisting of the installation of 36" RCP and pertinent drainage structures to provide additional system capacity. Type 16's and 17's will be used along the curb lines. o Relining approximately 310' of an existing concrete ditch located on Pine Street. The existing lined ditch is failing and scouring in some places. The intent is to reline the entire stretch of ditch to prevent further damage or washouts. o Stormwater improvements along Moore Ln including the installation of 15" and 18" RCP as well as pertinent drainage structures to prevent sinkholes and roadside damage. This project consists of replacing an existing failing system so the contractor must also remove the existing pipe and boxes. o Stormwater improvements at the intersection of Hwy 701 and Boundary Street. This project includes the installation of 36" RCP and new drainage structures to increase capacity and performance of the system as it drains Hwy 701 and discharges into Crabtree Swamp. This project will require the removal of the existing 15" and 18" RCP system. The contractor will also be required to repair the concrete driveway connections at the Speedway Gas Station.
