Belles-Fleurs building for reconstruction: clean up the targeted areas, remove what needs to be removed, and protect the building for the next phase. The work mainly involves decontaminating identified materials, selective demolition according to plans, installing temporary protections (interior and exterior) and coordinating the services (electricity, plumbing, ventilation) necessary for the safe completion of the work. Objective: to deliver clean, safe spaces ready for construction in Phase 2. Broadly speaking, Phase 1 includes: - Decontaminating the targeted areas and performing final cleaning; - Selectively demolishing the indicated elements, sorting and removing debris; - Installing the required temporary protections and supports; maintaining clear and safe pathways; - Disconnecting and then reconnecting the relevant networks, in coordination with other disciplines; - Protecting the building envelope from the elements and maintaining site conditions, including during the cold season; - Coordinating teams and logistics for a smooth sequence of operations.
