Reference Number 0000398593 The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and resulting contract is to select a Certified Lead Professional to conduct Lead Inspections, Lead Risk Assessments and Lead Clearances for single-family properties built prior to 1978 on an as-needed basis. The lead-based paint inspections, risk assessments and lead hazard evaluations must comply with the United States Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. These inspections will be conducted in the 20 communities participating in the Macomb "Urban County" Community Block Grant program including the Villages of Armada, New Haven, and Romeo; the Townships of Armada, Bruce, Chesterfield, Harrison, Lenox, Macomb, Ray, Richmond, Shelby and Washington; and the Cities of Center Line, Eastpointe, Fraser, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Richmond and Utica, in addition to the 3 member communities of the Macomb HOME Consortium (Roseville, Sterling Heights, and Clinton Township).
