The scope of this project consists of building a new 165,000 square foot Middle School on a +/- 60 acre site. Bids shall be binding for (90) calendar days from the date bids are opened. All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the Bid Documents or by Addendum, shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, license number, identification of the contract being bid and the name of the project. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of South Carolina.
