Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is invitational to six (6) companies awarded through 097-P-23 Prequalification for City-Wide General Contractors. The City is soliciting Bids from Contractors to renovate areas throughout the interior pool basement area of the Cornell Community Centre. The facility is to remain in use and fully operational during construction and not immediately affected by the work. This includes all pools, pool equipment, and the staff's ability to operate the pool and maintain the systems. The work includes but is not limited to: 1) Concrete Slab and Below-Slab Plumbing Repair a. Removal of existing concrete floor slab in areas identified by consultants b. Repair of below slab piping, conduit, sub-grade materials c. Replacement of concrete floor slab 2) O/H Door Supply and Installation a. Provide new O/H Door b. Demo of required wall section and installation of new opening for door c. Installation of new O/H Door and electrical. 3) HVAC Upgrades a. Ventilation and duct work b. Expansion tanks c. Condensing unit Deadline for submitting questions: Tuesday, September 23, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
