Installation of new U.G. Conduit and Structures for the North Attleborough Electric Department NAED reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the proposals received and accept the bid that it deems to be most favorable to the interest of NAED. Question Deadline 09/24/2025 If a bidder has any questions about the project, the Specifications, or any terms contained herein, such questions must be made in writing prior to submitting a bid and directed to the NAED Operations Manager. In order to receive consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids General Description of the Work The work generally consists of the excavation and the installation of an approximately 450 duct bank, (2) UG pulling vault and (2) < 25riser duct banks, in accordance with both NAED UG specifications and conditions required by MADOT as part of the design plan #2249.00 as prepared by Level Design Group. NAED will furnish all new conduit, conduit fitting, conduit spacers, steel riser sweeps and U.G. pulling structures. The successful bidder (or Contractor) shall be responsible for supervision of the Work and shall furnish all personnel, services, materials, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, except as expressly stated herein, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of the Work and as herein specified. The Contractor will be expected to commence work upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed by Owner. The estimated date for such Notice to Proceed is on or about October 24 th . All Work shall be completed by November 15, 2025, or the winning bidder will need to request a work extension from MASS DOT. Time is of the essence.
