The Contractor shall provide various lot repairs or lot maintenance as need arises. The repairs may consist of, but not limited to, seal coat, slurry, fabric overlay, patch, paint striping, and speed bump work as required at different Metro sites. The Contractor will provide infrared repair heating method for the removal and replacement, Stripping and ADA marking, curb cut repairs on as needed basis. The contractor will also provide curb, gutter and catch basin cleanout and proper functionality. * The Contractor will provide all types of permeable pavement to building parking lots, driveways and roads to restore natural infiltration functions to the landscape and reduce impacts to watercourses by allowing rainwater to slowly infiltrate into the ground. * Permeable pavement shall include the following main categories: * Modular Interlocking Concrete Block Pavement. * Porous Asphalt or Porous Concrete. * Plastic Grid Systems * Contractor shall inspect and periodically clean to help ensure that the desired infiltration rates are maintained. * The Contractor must furnish the required labor, material, equipment, parts and supplies necessary for the application of the above services in accordance with the specifications unique to each. This list of services is by no means exhaustive and includes only the more common and general repair and maintenance needs of Metro parking lots. Pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws (M.C.L.) Section 4.12.040, this solicitation document serves as the written determination of the Purchasing Agent, that the use of competitive sealed bidding is neither practicable nor advantageous to Metro. Therefore, this solicitation will facilitate the entering into of contract(s) by the competitive sealed proposals process. The proposal process, flexibility and limitations are governed by the Code and related Procurement Regulations. The proposal selection method permits discussions with offerors who submit proposals determined to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for award. Modifications in proposal content, comparative judgmental evaluations of the proposals, corrections, and scope adjustments, may occur at the request of the Purchasing Agent or their designee. There may be one or more amendments to this solicitation. Solicitation amendments are included as updates to the original solicitation. It is the offeror's responsibility to remain informed on all solicitation amendments and submit the solicitation response incorporating all amendments. Metro reserves the right to issue additional rounds as it deems necessary for the purposes of evaluation. Additional rounds may include, but not be limited to, Offeror interviews. Metro reserves the right to make multiple awards for a contract if it is deemed in the best interest of Metro.
