Renovation of a power facility in Glens Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The Village of Owego is seeking Requests for Proposals for Rooftop Installation of Solar Photovoltaic Array Installation. The selected contractor is expected to design a solar photovoltaic system that will offset the energy usage of the Village office building (22 Elm Street) and potentially the energy usage of the Department of Public Works Garage (DPW) located at 20 Elm Street. The roof mounted solar photovoltaic system will be installed on the DPW building. The building has a three-phase system at 22 Elm, and the DPW Garage is one-phase. The annual energy consumption for 22 Elm Street is 82,600 kWh, 20 Elm Street is 23,400 kWh, a total for both buildings is 106,000 kWh. The size of the system is expected to be a minimum of 71.76 kW. The selected contractor will provide all materials for the installation, including the solar panels and any necessary electrical upgrades, installation and full set up. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15%
