Bid date change from 10/14/2025 to 10/21/2025 as per Adda 2. Due date for questions October 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM The project consists of maintenance and repair of five county bridges. Questions Due; September 30, 2025, 11:00 am All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. A Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) will also be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. Newton County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
