Renovation of a military facility in Ocean City, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36 and FAR Part 13. Proposals are requested in response to solicitation number 70Z08425QDL950039, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) is required at the time of quote submission, except as outlined in FAR 4.1102(a). All quotes must include a price quote and a technical approach and be submitted via email to maeve.m.schaeffer@uscg.mil by Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST. Oral offers will not be accepted. A site visit is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025, between 0900 and 1400 EST. A REAL ID is required for access. Attendees must contact MKC Scott Harvey at 410-289-1905 upon arrival. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST to maeve.m.schaeffer@uscg.mil. 1. Remove and disposal of all damaged drywall and old fiberglass shower inserts of 12 berthing rooms. 2. Widen and raise shower wall and ceiling. 3. Update and relocate plumbing to allow for shutoff access point in room. 4. Install new drywall with mud and sanding completed. 5. Install new tile ready base. 6. Provide technical support, system programming, testing, and certification during installation.
