The Commission is soliciting for a Licensed Timber Operator-A (LTO-A) to provide fuel reduction services on 109 acres of forest on School Lands Parcel #062-002 adjacent to the town of Truckee to reduce fire threat and improve the health of the forest. LOCATION OF WORK - The location of work is at School Lands parcel #062-002, located at 12481 Prosser Dam Road in Truckee, CA.Bids shall be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond executed by a surety made payable to the "State Lands Commission." The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a payment bond and performance bond, each in a sum equal to the amount of the contract. a) Payment Bond | Attachment 25 - The Payment bond shall secure the payment of claims of laborers, mechanics, or material-persons employed for work under this Agreement. i) Upon notice of Intent to Award contract, Contractor shall furnish a payment bond made payable to the "State Lands Commission" in a sum equal to 100% of the contract value. ii) Payment bond must be issued by a company authorized by the California Insurance Commissioners to transact surety business in California. iii) Two (2) copies of bond shall be submitted on Standard Form STD 807 (Attachment 25). b) Performance Bond | Attachment 26 - The Performance Bond shall guarantee the faithful performance of this Agreement. i) Upon notice of intent to award contract, Contractor shall furnish a performance bond made payable to the "California State Lands Commission" in a sum equal to 100% of the contract value. ii) Performance bond must be issued by a company authorized by the California Insurance Commissioners to transact surety business in California. iii) Two (2) copies of bond shall be submitted.
