Site work and renovation of a civil project in Atlanta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

ATL Report No. BD184E-01-06-24 This project generally involves the; replacement +/- 3,140 LF of existing 8" watermain along Wayland St (SR21) with 8" PVC; installation of +/- 1,810 LF of 8" watermain along Beecher Street (CR39A) with 8" PVC and HDPE; installation of +/- 730 LF of 10" PVC and HDPE water main along University Ave (CR39); and +/- 1,170 LF of 8" PVC and HDPE along Maple Ave. The watermain work also includes new ancillary hydrants, main line valves, water services, and connections to all side streets. This project also includes replacement of three pressure reducing valve pits with a small PRV building. Also, the project includes re-sealing and cleaning the water storage tank and drainage improvements at the tank site. Also, the project includes construction of a new chlorine storage building adjacent to the existing well house, and well house improvements for the addition of orthophosphate for hardness control and other miscellaneous improvements. Project Duration 240 Days SCOPE OF SERVICES/SPECIFICATIONS: A. Scope of Services The Contractor shall apply a Cementitious sprayed-on pipe liner on the inside of the existing corrugated metal pipe and repair spalled areas in existing concrete liner. The work shall include; 1. Cleaning and preparing the existing pipe, 2. Removing and properly disposing of any and all debris/silt/rock inside the pipe, 3. Installing and removing all environmental controls, 4. Installing and removing cofferdams and/or diversions, 5. Filling and stabilizing voids surrounding the pipe with a product from the Approved Materials List, Attachment J. 6. Application of the liner, 7. Inspection and testing of liner, 8. Application of material to repair spalls in existing concrete pipe, 9. Water quality testing, 10. Furnishing and placing seed in disturbed areas, 11. Furnishing and placing erosion control matting in disturbed areas, 12. All materials, tools, labor, traffic control, and incidentals required to perform the work. Note 1: Pipe has existing concrete liner in the bottom quarter of pipe for the entire length. Contractor shall apply spray-on lining on the remaining area of pipe. Construction joint where new lining and existing lining meets shall be cleaned before placement of new liner and sealed with a material from the VDOT Approved Materials List after placement of new liner.
