In submitting a bid, Service Provider understands and agrees that the services shall be provided in accordance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the Displaced Janitor Opportunity Act (California Labor Code 1060 et seq.) and the California Property Service Workers Protection Act (California Labor Code 1420 et seq.). A successor Service Provider or successor Service Provider shall retain, for a 60-day transition employment period, employees who have been employed by the terminated Service Provider or its subcontractors, if any, for the preceding four months or longer at the site or sites covered by the successor service Agreement unless the successor Service Provider or successor Service Provider has reasonable and substantiated cause not to hire a particular employee based on that employee's performance or conduct while working under the terminated Agreement. Janitorial Service Providers must be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Labor Commissioner's Office before submitting a proposal. Business Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm No public opening Fee: No fee to register The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified janitorial service providers to provide professional janitorial services at City facilities in Morgan Hill for the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027 with the possibility of three one-year extensions.
