The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified CSLB licensed roofing contractors to provide on-call roofing maintenance services for its city facilities. The work involves supplying all labor, equipment, materials, and performance of operation in connection with on-call roof maintenance services. Bid proposals must be e-mailed in PDF format with specified subject lines and include completed versions of the following documents: Bid Proposal, Attachment A (Cost Proposal Schedule), Attachment B (Response to Technical Questions), Attachment C (Wage Theft Prevention Bid Certification), Attachment D (Certification of Acceptance of Terms of Agreement), Attachment E (Non-Collusion Declaration), and Attachment F (Subcontractors List). Forms are provided in Section 3. Incomplete proposals or those not using the provided forms will not be considered. Electronic signatures are accepted. The contractor selection will use a best value methodology, evaluating both narrative responses regarding qualifications, experience, references, and communication systems, as well as cost proposals. Contractors and their subcontractors must have a valid and current CSLB C-39 Roofing Contractor’s license, comply with all relevant licenses, insurance, permit requirements, and possess a Qualified Applicator license in Santa Clara County. The successful contractor must also obtain a City of Morgan Hill Business License, if not already held. No bid bonds are required. The anticipated term is two years, with possible extensions. The City reserves the right to issue addenda and to award multiple service agreements.
