The City is requesting proposals from qualified California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) licensed Plumbing Contractors (C-36) to provide on-call plumbing maintenance services for its city facilities. The anticipated not-to-exceed amount for the initial two-year term of the maintenance service agreement is $100,000 ($50,000 per year). The anticipated two-year term of the agreement is July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028 with the possibility of up to three one-year extensions. Contractors submitting a bid proposal and their subcontractors must possess a valid and current CSLB C-36 Plumbing Contractor’s license and comply with any other required licenses, insurance and permit requirements of the City, State and Federal governments, as well as all other requirements of the law to perform the required services. The City will not accept a bid proposal from or enter into a contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder and its Subcontractors are registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. This project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, and each worker performing work under this contract shall be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined by law. The contract will be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. The City will accept electronic PDF proposals from qualified contractors no later than the specified deadline. Late proposals will not be accepted.
