The Board of Education for MSD of Boone Township is seeking bids for the Hebron High School Addition. MSD Boone Township has contracted Veregy to perform and manage the construction of a new building addition to the existing high school. Veregy will manage and oversee all work related to this project. The contract bid packages will conform to the following guidelines: MSD Boone Township will hire the following work under the Construction Manager (CM) Bid Package directly: Civil, Masonry, Steel Erection, Fire Protection, and Site Utilities, Gym Wall Padding installation, & Sports Equipment. Veregy will serve as the Construction Manager to these bid packages. Veregy will hire directly and manage the following work under a Performance Contract: HVAC, Roofing, Lighting, Electrical, BMS Controls, Electrical installation of Roof Mounted Solar, and the necessary Professional Services for the project. MSD Boone Township will hire a General Contractor (GC) under the CM Bid Package directly. Veregy will serve as the Construction Manager to the GC. The GC will be responsible for the following scopes: General Labor, Plumbing, Exterior & Interior Paint, Store-Front Doors, Rollup Doors, Interior/Exterior Doors, Door Hardware, Gym Flooring, Public Washrooms and Partitions, Locker Room lockers / partitions / washroom accessories /paper dispensers, Fire Extinguishers. The new building addition is 28,218 square feet that will have a two-basketball court gymnasium serving basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. The addition will also include two (2) public washrooms, two (2) locker rooms with capacity for 60 lockers, a wrestling practice room, a remodel of an existing storage room into the new snacks room for the gym, mechanical rooms, and storage rooms. The new addition will connect to the main building, one side against the existing gymnasium, and one hallway connection to an existing main hallway. One (1) set of volleyball floor mounts will be included on each basketball court. One (1) court will be used to place a competition wrestling mat that will be hoisted/elevated for events.
