Reference Number 0000302870 Question Acceptance Deadline Sep 24, 2025 02:00 PM EDT Pricing Lump sum Perform a thorough/detailed ultrasonic study and site investigation of the steam supply and condensate return piping to determine the exact condition of the pipe and replacement needs. Drawings will be provided if available to assist in determining the pipes locations. The consultant shall allow for detail and in depth site investigation of existing piping as well the consultant shall determine along with review of existing drawings the best location of pipe that will need to be investigated and ultrasonic testing done on. The consultant shall allow for a minimum of 20 ultrasonic tests for each pipe in the basement of the building, minimum 20 tests for each pipe in the middle floors of the building and minimum 20 tests for each pipe in the top floors of the building to get a comprehensive understanding and condition of the pipes. All the findings shall be provided in a detail report with pictures and identifying locations of pipe tests. Study to also provide life cycle replacement costs and identify areas where immediate repairs or replacement are required and future replacement costs and years when replacement should be planned. If during the testing and site investigation of the pipes, any urgent or emergency issue is discovered, the consultant shall notify the project manager and operations team immediately. The tests must also include elbows, tees, steam traps as well as straight section of pipes.
