Description of Work: The proposed work is officially known as the "CITY OF MARSEILLES, BRATTON AVENUE & TOWER CIRCLE DRIVE DRAINAGE PROJECTS" and is further described as follows: Location 1 Bratton Avenue at Rutland Street: The work at this location consists of removing an existing headwall and installing 164 feet of storm sewer. The work also includes installation of one new manhole, connecting to existing storm structures at two locations, clearing, pavement removal and replacement, and related work. Location 2 Tower Circle Drive at 1016 & 1018: The work at this location consists of installing 150 feet of storm sewer, one storm inlet, connection to the existing storm sewer system, restoration and seeding, and related work. All Proposals must be submitted on forms supplied by the City of Marseilles and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Money Order, or Certified Check for not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid made payable to the City of Marseilles. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Rejection of Bids: The City of Marseilles reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any or all Proposals
