Bidders may, in writing, ask questions or request clarification about this Invitation to Bid (the "ITB"). Only written inquiries directed to the contact person listed above will be given consideration. No oral comments will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Bid Specifications or other contract documents. Before the bid opening, the District will make available to the public answers to questions or any modifications or additions in the form of a written addendum. Bidders will not be relieved of obligations due to failure to examine or receive documents, visit the website or become familiar with conditions or facts of which the Bidder should have been aware and the District will reject all claims related thereto. Information other than in the form of a written Addendum issued by the District from any officer, agent, or employee of the District or any other person shall not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the Bidder or relieve him from fulfilling any of the conditions and obligations set forth in this ITB. In the event of conflict with the original ITB documents, addenda shall govern to the extent specified. Subsequent addenda shall govern over prior addenda only to the extent specified. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of any formal Addendum by signing the Addendum and including it with the bid submission. A Bidder's failure to include a signed formal Addendum in its bid submission may deem its bid non-responsive Installation of 3 Concrete Pads at The Orland Fire Training Facility - Scope of Work: All concrete pads will be poured on top of 5 inches of crushed and compacted CA-6 Gravel. All concrete pads will be reinforced with rebar per industry standards. All concrete pads will have a slight pitch to the Northwest. All concrete will contain fiber mesh at a 6 bag mix. All concrete pads will have control joints per industry standards. All concrete pads will have a regular broom finish. Concrete Pad #1 will be located 8' East of and in line with the Southern edge of the TRT Intermodal Can Structure o Concrete pad 1 will finish on grade with the existing curb line. o Concrete pad 1 will be 30' wide by 40' deep at 6" of thickness. Concrete Pad #2 will be located 2' from the Northern fence line and will begin 20' West of the Western edge of the TRT Intermodal Can Structure. o Concrete pad 2 will finish 2" (inches) below grade of the existing curb line. o Concrete pad 2 will be 56' wide by 40' deep at 6" of thickness o Concrete pad 2 will have a void of 106" (inches) x 32' near the Eastern Side of the pad with 4' of concrete surround on the North, South and East Side of the void. Concrete Pad #3 will be located 2' from the Northern fence line and will begin 2' East of the Rear Gate o Concrete pad 3 will finish 2" (inches) below the bottom edge of the rear fence o Concrete pad 3 will be 18' wide x 26' deep at 6" of thickness Furnish gravel to regrade and compact if necessary. Sloping the ground to ensure a grade that allows rain to roll down and off the concrete. All excavated pavement, debris, and other waste materials shall be removed from the site and disposed of legally by the contractor. All work and materials shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and Municipal codes. All work is to be performed in one mobilization (weather permitting) and will require preapproval from an Orland FPD Representative for specific work dates. All work shall be completed by December 31 st , 2025 Warranty - The Contractor shall guarantee the application and workmanship for Concrete Installation and shall be warranted from sinking, fractures and spalling for 12 months from the date of installation. Bid Bond - not required.
