Renovation of a municipal facility in Avon, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Repair and repaint the exterior of the house. This is to include all painted exterior surfaces. The vendor shall be a NYS certified lead renovator who will comply with all NYS environmental regulations including safety and disposal. All debris will be removed from the work site by the contractor and disposed of properly. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award. Once the job begins it will be worked on continuously until completion. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. Subcontractors must be approved by the point of contact prior to their involvement. The safety plan will be followed. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Any work completed in advance of a necessary inspection will be removed. Upon completion of this repair project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Point of Contact. If this scope of work is not followed the project may be terminated. The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification to the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the FLDDSO Business Office to all contractors. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing. This is an Article 8 NYS Public Works Project; prevailing wages must be paid. The NYS Department of Labor PRC number for this project is: 2025011538. The Agency reserves the right to make awards within (90) days or such longer period as shall be specified in the RFQ documents after the date of the RFQ deadline, during which period quotes shall not be withdrawn unless the bidder distinctly states in the quote that acceptance thereof must be made within a shorter specified time. If, however, an award is not affected within the ninety (90) day period, a quote shall remain firm until such later time as either a contract is awarded by the State or the contractor delivered to the Agency written notice of the withdrawal of the quote.
