The work will consist of providing all Labor, equipment and material to demolition the existing Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT)floor and Cove Base in the Hallways and two rooms. Furnish and install new 20 MIL Direct Glue Down LVP flooring and 4 Cove Base. Contractors will need to supply color options to choose from once awarded. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking construction services for the replacement of approximately 1,500 square feet of flooring at the small boat station located at U.S. Coast Guard Base Portsmouth. The scope of work includes removal of the existing Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) floor and cove base, adhesive removal, subfloor and wall preparation and leveling, installation of new Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) direct glue-down flooring, and installation of new cove base. The contractor is expected to complete all work within 30 days after award. This procurement is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number 70Z08425QPORT0006 and is governed by FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The acquisition is classified under NAICS code 238330 (Flooring Contractors) with a size standard of $19 million. A Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order will be awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) offer.
