The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting quotes from qualified contractors to repair the roof on the Valley Community for Recycling Solutions (VCRS) building, located at 9465 E. Chanlyut Circle, Palmer, AK 99645. Questions Due Date: Sep 26th 2025, 5:00 PM AKDT Scope of Work: - Remove the damaged fabric flashing where the roof meets the upper wall on the east side roof area which is an expansion joint detail, and replace it with EPDM Linear expansion Joint. There are 14 damaged areas in the expansion joint material. Replace this material in total. Approx 82 lineal feet. - Appy caulking to the area prior to attaching the liner. Silicone or equivalent. - Replace all the caulking in the areas that appear to be leaking. - Over lap roof leak apply EPDM liquid butyl rubber coating (white) per manufacturers recommendation after cleaning the area. Apply to all overlap conditions. o West roof over lap = 2 runs 99'-4" = 198' 8" o East Roof over lap = 1 run at 82 LF. o Main roof overlap = 2 runs at 99'4" 198'8"
