Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a water / sewer project in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project.
Project Duration 150 Working Days from Notice to Proceed Date The scope of work includes Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility Training Building Abatement and Roof Replacement. The scope of work includes but is not limited to; the removal of lead-based paint and asbestos containing materials, wood shake roofing and siding, and the existing built-up roofing. Following demolition, the work will involve the installation of new wood sheathing with factory-applied radiant barrier, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding, along with new thermoplastic membrane roofing within the parapet wall area. Questions will be accepted only up to 5 working days prior to the bid opening date Question Deadline 10/11/2025 Any questions concerning this bid should be referred to the designated Procurement Specialist, Sean Miranda at purchasing@fresno.gov and may be submitted electronically by utilizing the Questions and Answers field online or by contacting the City of Fresno Purchasing Division, at (559) 621-1332 Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 09/18/2025 5:00 PM (PDT) It is the purpose and intent of these Specifications to describe the minimum requirements for the above project. All items not specifically mentioned which are required to complete the service shall be included in the unit bid price. Services performed, and materials used, shall conform in quality of material and workmanship to current industry standards. The unit price(s) bid shall include all costs of labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the furnishing and construction complete in place and operating, in accordance with the plans and specifications, for all work listed in the bid items. Before submitting a bid proposal, bidders should inspect the work site to verify the work, and the conditions under which the work will be performed. The submittal of a bid proposal shall be sufficient evidence that the bidder has reviewed the site and is fully aware of the required work and work conditions. Clean-up Payment for clean-up shall be included in the bid items. The Contractor shall perform all work necessary to complete the contract in a satisfactory manner. Unless otherwise provided in writing, he or she shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The administration of this contract after the award shall be controlled by the Construction Management Division of the Capital Projects Department. This supersedes any other references contrariwise. The designated contract person and Project Manager will be provided to the Contractor with the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be done in conformance with the provisions in the Specifications and in conformance with the requirements in all permits related to or required for the work, and as directed by the Engineer.
