Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Project entails: traffic maintenance, erosion & sediment control, excavation & backfilling, trubidity wall, HMA paving, imbricated riprap stone walls, concrete pavers, stone infiltration trench, topsoil & turf and all other related items necessary to complete this project. LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Forty (40) working days is the length of the contract. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages are assessed at $300.00 per day. ESTIMATED START: Notice to Proceed will tentatively be issued in early November 2025. For the construction of recreational access to the Antietam Creek, including but not limited to maintenance of traffic, a bituminous concrete parking lot, parking lot signage, thermoplastic lines, concrete paver walk and ramp into the creek, imbricated rip rap, turbidity barrier, stone infiltration trench, the installation of topsoil, seed and mulch; maintenance of soil erosion & sediment controls; and all labor, material, time, and appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by the City of Hagerstown, MD. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in an amount of not less than 10% of the total of the bid as guarantee of providing a 100% Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond upon successful bidding. No bid may be withdrawn until after 90 days from opening date. The City of Hagerstown reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids submitted, either in whole or in part for any reason within its absolute discretion and to re-advertise if it deems necessary. The City further reserves the right to waive any informalities.
