CPSB Central Office Main Building Restroom Renovation The Base Bid Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolish the first and second floor Men's Restrooms, Women's Restrooms, and Janitor's Closets where located on Drawings, including plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions, restroom equipment, millwork, select interior walls, doors and frames, acoustic suspended ceilings, light fixtures, ceramic tile floor finishes and mortar bed, and restroom and closet hardware where indicated on Drawings. 2. Provide and install new plumbing fixtures, including toilets, urinals, multi-station handwash sinks, and hose bibs. 3. Provide and install new toilet and urinal partitions. 4. Provide and install new acoustic suspended ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, and light fixtures. 5. Construct new walls. 6. Provide and install new doors, door frames, and door hardware. 7. Provide and install resinous wall and floor coatings and finishes. Adjust floor drains. 8. Provide and install new restroom designed to be furnished by Contractor and install owner furnished (OFCI) restroom hardware as noted in the Documents. 9. Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC items as noted on the Documents. 10. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. 11. Work areas shown generally on Drawing Sheet CS1. Demolition and Renovation Floor Plans shown on Drawing Sheet A2.1 and A2.2. Project Location: 1961 Midway Ave. Shreveport, LA 71108 BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made a part of the bid. If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form. Bid bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. Budget: $500,000.00 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Five-Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of seventy-five (75) calendar days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
