Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/23 02:30:00 PM NDT The Province invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit tender bids for repairs to the following housing units located in Hopedale and Rigolet: i. 1A Amaguk Road - Hopedale, NL ii. 1B Amaguk Road - Hopedale, NL 1C Amaguk Road - Hopedale, NL iv. 1D Amaguk Road - Hopedale, NL V. 1E Amaguk Road - Hopedale, NL vi. 6 Carpenter's Loop (Torngat Housing) - Hopedale, NL vii. 11 American Road (Torngat Housing) - Hopedale, NL viii. 13 American Road (Torngat Housing) - Hopedale, NL ix. 2 Carpenter's Drive (Torngat Housing) - Hopedale, NL X. 8 Carpenter's Drive (Torngat Housing) - Hopedale, NL xi. 1 Oliver's Loop - Rigolet, NL xii. 6 Oliver's Loop - Rigolet, NL xiii. 21 Blake's Waterfront - Rigolet, NL xiv. 29 Blake's Waterfront - Rigolet, NL Comprehensive Minimum General Liability $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death and damage to property including loss of use thereof, with a Property Damage deductible of $2,500.00. A Labour and Materials Payment Bond may be required in the amount of up to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond is to be received not later than one (1) week after the award of the contract by the Letter of Intent and prior to the execution of the formal agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Labour and Materials Security has been received. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond can be waved at the discretion of the Province. A Performance Bond may be required in the amount of up to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price. The Performance Security is to be received not later than one (1) week after the award of the contract by the Letter of Intent and prior to the formal execution of the agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Performance Bond has been received. The Performance Bond can be waved at the discretion of the Province. Bidders shall submit with their Tender a Bid Bond of at least 10% of their Total Tender Price (before HST) if the tendered amount is $25,000 or greater (before HST), in the form of one of the following: a. Certified Cheque b. Money Order C. Bank Draft d. Surety issued by an approved Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador e.
