The City is seeking to engage a qualified Design-Builder to carry out the Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park Signage Project. This initiative involves upgrading all existing signage within the park to align with the City's newly adopted Park Signage Standard, which will be applied to Fraser Foreshore Park in 2025/2026. The scope of work includes an inventory of all current park signage (wayfinding, maps, etiquette, informational, and regulatory), design of new signage, followed by manufacturing and installation of new signs, and the removal of outdated signage. As-built documentation will be required in a City specified format. The signage plan for Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park will include a variety of sign types such as wayfinding, park kiosks, informational and regulatory signs, interpretive signage, park maps, and any other signage elements necessary to meet the objectives of the project. The City has a budget of $45,000 to $65,000 for Phase 1 of the project for design services and has a budget of $450,000 to $550,000 for Phase 2 of the project construction services.
