Project No: G87002001 The project base bid primarily includes a full relining treatment along 125 ft of the steel pipe-arch segment. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including but not necessarily limited to the following: Cleaning the inside of the existing culvert pipe, providing construction access for workers, equipment and material, installation of stone filling, extension of existing drainage pipes and installation of a corrugated metal tunnel liner plate system to rehabilitate segments of the culvert pipe. The project add alternate includes a full relining treatment along 30 ft of the steel pipe-arch segment. This relining treatment will extend 5 feet into the steel arch on concrete footings segment. Proposals shall be made and received upon the following conditions: Each proposal must be accompanied by the deposit of a certified check, payable to the order of the Village of Lancaster, for a sum equal to five per centum (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or a bid bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five per centum (5%) of such total bid amount, conditioned that if the proposal is accepted, the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work, and that they will execute within fifteen (15) days from the date of the acceptance of the proposal, a suitable security bond in the amount of the contract, conditioned for the faithful and prompt performance and completion of the work specified in the contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid within (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
