Renovation of a municipal facility in Rockville Centre, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Scope of this specification consists of supplying the supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment and transportation necessary for the replacement ofthe manhole ceiling, replace the Bilco doors and repair light base adjacent to manhole 17B at 189 Sunrise Highway. The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable for: Replacement of Roof and Bilco Doors Manhole 17B Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check or bid bond payable to the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre in the amount of five (5%) percent of the gross amount of the bid. All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) under Labor Law Section 220-i and must include a copy of the registration with their bid response. Award of Contract will be made to the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with applicable provisions of the law. The Village reserves the right to reject all bids or make such determination as in the best interests of the Village, as provided by law.
