The successful contractor and any subcontractors shall be required to obtain a City of Escondido Business License pursuant to the terms of Exhibit 1. General The contractor awarded the Project ("Contractor") shall provide the City of Escondido, a California municipal corporation ("City") with removal and replacement of an existing retaining wall that is failing to meet City of Escondido standards (the "Project"). The Project will include, but not limited to, construction of a retaining wall, removal of soil and vegetation, removal of existing retaining wall, relocation of landscape, and minor earthwork. B. Location Contractor will provide services at 610 E. 9 th Avenue, Escondido, CA 92025-5134. The Project plans detailing the area of work are attached to this Scope of Work as Appendix 1 and incorporated herein by this reference. C. Services All services and work provided for the Project pursuant to this Agreement shall conform to: 1. The Project plans (Appendix 1); 2. The current edition of the California Storm Water Quality Association Storm Water Best Management Practices ("BMP") Handbook; 3. The Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction 2021 Edition, commonly referred to as the "SSWPC" or "Green Book" ("Green Book"); and 4. The amended items as shown in the Special Provisions, which are attached to this Scope of Work as Appendix 2 and incorporated herein by this reference.
