Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Wall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Demolition, Wall Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 -1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran Owned Small Businesses. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual bid opening thereof. The TCVCOG reserves the right to reject any or all bids, alternates or parts of bids. 300 Grant Street Parcel ID: (643-A-70) o Structure: 2 story wood framed, vinyl siding structure. o All combustible, decomposable and any other debris or materials must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Any and all rubbish in rear, front and sides of property to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All private concrete pads, walls and all private concrete walkways/pathways and steps on the property or around the structure must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All fencing and posts in the rear, side and front of the structure must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All wooden walkways, steps and railings in the rear, side and front of the structure must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Concrete basement floors and any other concrete floors within the structure must be at a minimum broken up and or removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Trees or shrubbery located in the front, sides or in the rear of structure to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All vegetation to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Sanitary sewer lateral (size to be determined in the field) must be exposed and capped off with Alleghany County approval and Borough Engineer inspection, water and gas service must be turned off and capped along with a void inspection must be performed prior to backfill. Contractor must send Glenn Engineering the Allegheny County Health Department Plumbing slip after the County has performed their inspection. o Neighboring structures must be kept free and clear of any and all damages, In the event that damages would occur, the contractor is liable and responsible for all cost of restoration and repairs at no extra cost to the owner or Borough. o All surrounding utilities and structures must be kept free and clear of any damages; Contractor is liable and responsible for all damages and repairs needed at no extra cost to the Borough or owner. o Lot must be graded from the rear of the property towards the front (Grant Street) to match the existing hillside slopes abutting the property to ensure proper watershed and disbursement on the lot. o The roadways, curb-line, surrounding public concrete walkways and asphalt must remain uthe entirety of the project. If any damage to the roadways, curb-line, surrounding public concrete walkways and asphalt occurs during demolition the contractor is responsible of any and all repairs at no extra cost to the owner or Borough. 2. 412 Marie Street Parcel ID: (643-C-309) o Structure: 2 story wood framed, vinyl siding structure. o All combustible, decomposable and any other debris or materials must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Any and all rubbish in rear, front and sides of property to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All private concrete pads and all private concrete walkways/pathways on the property or around the structure must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o The stone wall (Parallel) of Marie Street holding the hillside up must remain untouched and undamaged, if damages occur to the wall the contractor is liable and responsible for all damages and repairs needed at no extra cost to the Borough or owner. o A portion of the concrete stairway conjoined inside of the wall must remain untouched and undamaged if damages occur to the wall or conjoining stairway the contractor is liable and responsible for all damages and repairs needed at no extra cost to the Borough or owner. The contractor must sawcut andjackhammer the stairway near the backside of the wall in order to properly separate and remove the remaining portion of the stairway leading into the yard. o All fencing and posts in the rear, side and front of the structure must be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Concrete basement floors and any other concrete floors within the structure must be at a minimum broken up and or removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Trees or shrubbery located in the front, sides or in the rear of structure to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o All vegetation to be removed and taken off site to an approved dump site by the contractor. o Sanitary sewer lateral (size to be determined in the field) must be exposed and capped off with Alleghany County approval and Borough Engineer inspection, water and gas service must be turned off and capped along with a void inspection must be performed prior to backfill.
