Renovation of a swimming pool in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
Separate and sealed proposals will be received for Wilmerding Community Center Pool Renovations - Phase 1 Re-Bid. Information for Bidders, Contract, Form of Proposal and Bid Forms, Plans and Specifications may be examined or obtained for bidding purposes from Glenn Engineering & Associates. Copies are available with a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per set, with an additional $18.00 per set for mailing. No documents will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid at least the prevailing minimum wages as set forth in the applicable schedule. All bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or other negotiable instrument guaranteed by a commercial bank. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any form of bid bond that does not provide sufficient security. The Borough also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion of any bid, waive informality or irregularity, and to negotiate upon receipt of bids. The Borough may increase or decrease any or all quantities. No bid will be accepted after the specified time. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days once filed. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
