Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saratoga Springs, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Separate Sealed Bid Proposals to furnish materials and labor to complete the Legacy 2025 Project - Phase 9A, Transportation Facility project all in accordance with the plans and specifications for the following categories of work: CONTRACT NO. 53 - MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after the bid opening. Building may be inspected by bidders at pre-arranged times during normal school hours. To make arrangements for inspection, call: Patrick O. Rogers, The Pike Company, (585) 402-3642, rogepa@pikeco.com. Every question for such interpretations shall be submitted via email to: avottis@mosaicaa.com. A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete all work in strict accordance with the following specification sections: Mechanical Specification Index complete and in its entirety. Division 0 - Contract Documents as they pertain to this scope of work Division 1 - General Requirements as they pertain to this scope of work Division 2 THRU 26- Contract Documents as they pertain to this scope of work B. Work to include, but not limited to the following: 1. Provide daily all labor and equipment necessary to dispose of materials and debris created by this contract into dumpsters as required, dumpsters to be provided by Contract No. 53- Mechanical Construction. 2. Provide all necessary permits, fees, inspections, warranty inspections, warranties, approvals, and coordination with Local, County, State, Federal Agencies having jurisdiction. 3. All layout and coordination in a timely manner with all other Contracts for all layout and coordination necessary to complete this scope of work. 4. Unless otherwise stated in individual scopes of work, each Contract shall provide all cutting and patching of work surfaces to complete its work. 5. Provide removal and re-installation of existing ceiling components not shown on the drawings, but required for the completion of this scope of work. 6. Furnish and modify curbs for new roof penetrations if required. 7. Provide roof patching, flashing and sealing as required per Keynote 1 on Drawing M502 8. Provide individual regulators at each piece of gas fired equipment complete, if required. 9. Provide disconnection, demolition, reconnection and installation of all natural gas piping complete as they pertain to this scope of work. 10. Confirm existing natural gas service pressures are acceptable for all new equipment. Submit pressures to construction manager for evaluation. 11. Provide all Final Cleaning as it pertains to this scope of work. 12. Provide all Closeout Procedures as it pertains to this scope of work. 13. Provide all Penetration and Joint Firestopping as it pertains to this scope of work. 14. Provide all Caulking and Sealants as it pertains to this scope of work. 15. Provide all General Mechanical Requirements complete. 16. Provide all Mechanical Demolition complete, including piping, hangers, accessories, etc. 17. Provide all Supports and Sleeves complete. 18. Provide all Equipment Start-up, Training, Testing, Adjusting and Balancing complete. a. If required provide addition startups to tune boilers based on heating demand. 19. Provide all General Commissioning of HVAC Equipment as it pertains to this scope of work. 20. Furnish all Variable Frequency Drives as needed. Installation by EC. 21. Provide all chemical treatment complete as it pertains to this scope of work. 22. Provide all condensate neutralization piping, equipment and connections complete as it pertains to this scope of work. 23. Provide all necessary isolation, draining and refill of existing hydronic system. 24. Salvage all existing boiler control panels for turnover to the district.
