Task 1: Install a bypass line and valve on the discharge line of the pump station. This shall include an 8" Mueller open right gate valve an 8" 90 bend, 8" riser to the surface with an 8" 90 to a 6" male camlock fitting. Install an 8" Mueller gate valve on the force main just before the bypass line. See attached drawing. Task 2: Set up bypass pumping using the new line installed in task 1. Within the Ball 2 pump station we are looking to replace all of the 8" ductile iron pipping within the wet well in kind. This includes two 8" suction lines and one 8" discharge line. The suction lines go to the bottom of the wet well approximately 14' to an 8" 90 Base elbow. Alternate 1: Line both Ball 1 and Ball 2 pump station with an OBIC Polyurea Coating. Alternate 2: Install a 125KVA 3-phase generator and transfer switch on a new 13' x 5'x 8" Concrete Pad. Install new control hut see SA-10 with 8' x 7'x 6" Alternate 2: Install a 125KVA 3-phase generator and transfer switch on a new 13 x 5 x 8 Concrete Pad. Install new control hut see SA-10 with 8 x 7 x 6. The project completion is subject to the availability of permitting weather. Task 1 and Task 2 must be completed before December 31, 2025 With substantial Completion of the rest of the items to be completed by May 1, 2026 based on availability of parts. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
