Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waycross, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work To Be Done: The Work to be completed for the FY2024 Paving Improvements Phase II is described briefly as follows: The project consists of (but is not limited to) approximately 53,000 SY of asphalt milling; 5,500 TN of 9.5mm asphalt overlay; 2,500 TN open graded interlayer asphalt; manhole frame & cover replacements and adjustments to grade; valve box adjustments to grade; driveway apron adjustments; pavement striping replacements; 260 long & short- side water service replacements; 1,200 LF of 15/18/24" storm drainage improvements, 460 LF storm drainage replacement via pipe bursting, and 600 LF of 24" cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation, water main relocation, curb & gutter and sidewalk replacements, and other associated work. Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of Georgia. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bonds: Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability". Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. QA date - 10-7-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. The person submitting the request shall do so in writing and be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
