**As of January 9, 2026, project has not been awarded yet, The contract will be voted on in Monday the 12th, commission meeting .** All material, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of Street Paving Project 2023 Local Funds Phase 2 on Palmetto Drive, Lake Drive, Crystal Street, Dasher Street, Bennett Lane, and Astoria Road. Detailed instructions for the preparation and submission of a bid may be found in Specification Section 00200 - Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 11/05/2025 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineering response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. All work must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days from receipt of written Notice to Proceed. Ware County, Georgia reserves the right to delete one or more Bid Items for the purpose of making an award; and the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the Ware County.
