All questions must be received by JCMUA no later than October 6, 2025, by 3:00 p.m. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c), responses will be issued by either a clarification or addendum mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by JCMUA as having received the Request for Bids. Questions received after 3:00 p.m. on October 6, 2025 will not be answered. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Bid Specifications. The scope of the Project includes of the rehabilitation of approximately 31,000 linear feet of existing combined sewer mains along West Side Avenue, New York Avenue, Manhattan Avenue, Danforth Street, Cottage Street, and Grove Street, including rehabilitation of sewer pipes, sanitary sewer house lateral connections, manholes and catch basins, testing and inspection of rehabilitated pipes, sewer spot repairs, and reinstatement of sanitary sewer laterals, and all other associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be completed within 555 calendar days of the Contractor's receipt of written Notice to Proceed. A bid must be accompanied by a Surety's Consent and either a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid or $20,000.00 maximum, whichever is the lesser. Cashier's check or certified checks shall be made payable to the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. The Surety shall be bound to furnish Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance Bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract Price. JCMUA reserves the right to reject all Bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, as well as the right to waive minor immaterial informalities, and to accept the Bid for the contract *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Maintenance and protection of traffic. C. Installation of soil erosion control measures. D. Install, test and put into operation the necessary by-pass pumping installations, as required. E. Maintain the by-pass pumping operations until the combined sewer rehabilitation is complete, tested, and is ready to be placed back in service. F. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the cured-in-place pipe sewer rehabilitation for the combined sewer mains as shown on the Drawings. G. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the geopolymer pipe lining rehabilitation for the combined sewer pipes as shown on the Drawings. H. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to reinstate all sanitary sewer laterals. I. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete infiltration repairs and manhole rehabilitation, as directed. J. Test all rehabilitated combined sewer mains including a post-construction closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection. K. Perform site work, restoration and cleanup work. L. Perform a one (1) year anniversary closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection.
