Renovation of a municipal facility in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 35,800-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility.
Filed Sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for categories: Thermal & Moisture Protection, HVAC, and Electrical. The Procurement Office on behalf of the Department of Public Works is requesting bids for the following: FY26 COAL BIN RENOVATION TOWN HALL project. Questions Due Date: Oct 7th 2025, 11:00 AM EDT Questions are due by 11am on 10/16/25 in the Q&A section of the online portal. 100% Payment and 100% Performance Bonds are required. 5% Bid Bond required. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal wage laws required. Certification of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training required. 10.4% MBE/WBE participation required. General bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance(DCAMM) for the category of General Building Construction. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. The scope of work includes: a. Demolition of the existing below grade coal bin b. Concrete work c. Carpentry, waterproofing, damp proofing, caulking d. Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical e.
