The new K-4 elementary school requires that the building's mechanical and electrical systems function properly to achieve designed levels of comfort and energy efficiency. To accomplish this goal, the district is seeking professional assistance to commission selected building systems, verify they are calibrated to function completely as designed, and meet the district's operational performance expectations. Commissioning will involve, but is not limited to, the installation and operation of building metering and energy management, control, and monitoring systems. The project Architect is Stasis Design, P.C. It is anticipated design will be completed and the project will be out to bid by May 1, 2026. The project will be a conventional design, bid, and build project. The school is scheduled for Occupancy August 2028. Laramie County School District Number One is seeking a qualified Commissioning Agent (CA) to provide technical support and commissioning services for the Arp Elementary School Replacement Facility. Building commissioning, defined as the process of ensuring that building systems are designed, installed, functionally tested, and capable of being operated and maintained to perform in conformance with the contract documents, the design intent, and the school's operational needs. The following statement of work defines the systems as currently planned and separates commissioning activities into three categories, Construction, Acceptance, and Post-acceptance phases. Proposals shall be bound or placed in a binder, printed on letter size paper (8-1/2 inch by 11-inch) paper. Ledger (11 inch by 17 inch) size foldouts are acceptable provided they are no larger than a letter size page when folded. Proposals shall be no more than 20 pages.
