Questions Due Date: Oct 6th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT online Reamstown Memorial Park - Park Improvements contains one (1) contract: Contract No. 1 - Site Improvement Contract (General Contract). A. Base Bid includes, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment, superintendence, and appurtenances for the construction of the following: 1. Site preparation, including demolition and earthwork. 2. Installation of bituminous pavements and pavement overlay, site furniture, slip rail fencing, park entrance sign, parking area and accessibility improvements, and other work as described in the contract documents. Park entrance sign panel will be purchased by the Owner for installation by the Contractor. 3. Erosion control measures, landscaping, and lawn seeding. Mill and overlay the existing parking area pavement. Introduce landscape islands in the parking area. Develop accessible trail improvements from the parking area to the existing skatepark, basketball court, and pedestrian bridge. Provide fencing around the perimeter of the skate park. Add park signage. A bid bond or certified check shall accompany each proposal to the Owner in the amount of 10 percent of the total base bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the bid opening date and may not be withdrawn during this period. All bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form and on the unit costs. This contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. East Cocalico Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner, or to waive any informality in the bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable in the interest of East Cocalico Township. The Work shall be substantially completed by May 1, 2026. Final completion- May 22, 2026.
